Succulent Steak

 

Overlooking the gardens and Iceberg roses, the dining room and veranda are open daily for hearty breakfasts, offering a full English & Continental buffet, with freshly baked pastries are the order of the day.

In the evenings, as the lights are dimmed for intimate candle-lit dinners, the dining room is transformed with elegant tableware, glasses and flowing white tablecloths.

 

Intimate Dining Experience

 

The menu, with its blend of international & local flavours, is further enhanced by the freshly picked herbs and greens from the lodge’s own vegetable patch.

Each individual course is tastefully prepared by our team of professional chefs and is served with an air of sophistication together with a selection of premium local wines.

As the evening draws to a close, after dinner drinks and liqueurs are served in the guest lounge or on the lantern lit veranda.

 

 

 

  Breakfast  

The diningroom is open between 8am and 10am for hearty breakfasts each morning, either in the diningroom or on the front patio, where lofty umbrellas and brightly coloured tablecloths, create a leisurely affair.

A full English & Continental buffet, with a choice of, freshly baked pastries, yogurt, cheese and cold meat platters, together with cereals and a choice of juices, await you.

An individual fruit platter will be served at your table, as you are seated and your tea & coffee orders taken. Cooked breakfast orders will follow and our attentive staff, are always standing by, to see to your every need and to give you advise on ‘how to spend you day’.

 

 Light Meals & Refreshments 

Teas, coffee, with biscuits or cake are available throughout the day.

Salads and toasted sandwiches are available throughout the day.

 

 Dinners and Sundowners 

Sundowners are served on the front patio from 6.30pm.

After a busy and exciting day, why not wind down and join us, for a two and three course set menu dinner, with a choice of main.

In the evenings,the diningroom, with its crisp white linen, elegant tableware and glasses, is transformed, as the lights are dimmed for intimate candlelit dinners. As the evening draws to a close, liqueurs, teas, coffees and homemade truffles are served in the lounge or on the patio, amidst the warm and social buzz of conversation, reflecting on the sights and experiences of the day. The bedrooms are turned down invitingly for the night’s rest, with chocolates and weather cards neatly placed, encouraging dreams of tomorrow’s adventures and the delights of what Cape Town has to offer.
